Dear colleagues!

International Journal of Unconventional Science (IJUS) is a peer-reviewed, electronic journal that publishes original and high-quality research papers, surveys, reviews and letters on topics broadly related to boundary phenomena of quantum physics, unconventional information effects, energy, biophysics, medicine, psychology and other disciplines. It supports exchange of ideas and popularization of new interdisciplinary and boundary areas of modern science.

IJUS aims at international auditory and intends bringing together researchers from around the world working in these areas; establishing a dialogue between mainstream research and new research areas; involving young researchers; verification and validation of theoretical and experimental data. The IJUS encourages performing replication experiments.

The English version of the journal uses the continuous submission approach, where the papers, after a positive decision of peer review evaluation, are immediately published online. This reduces time between an initial submission and the final publication. The journal invites authors to provide medial files (e.g. video) with demonstrations, explanations of experimental setups and other supporting information. Not only videos but also the raw sensor data, obtained during experiments, can be provided and published together with the original paper. This intends to increase a credibility, technical soundness and usability of the conducted research as well as to enable performing replication experiments by independent organizations.

provides several different formats for

  • Original research papers should contains new, not previously published material with theoretical and experimental parts, whose length is not limited (but should be rationally used) and that are peer review evaluated.
  • Reports on experiments that usually contain only obtained experimental data with a description of used setup and explanations of main hypotheses that these experiments are intended for. These submissions are evaluated for technical soundness by the editorial board only. After reports on experiments, authors are invited to submit a full research paper.
  • Review papers that surveys specific topics or research, historical or any other areas of unconventional or mainstream science and technology. These papers are peer review evaluated.
  • Innovation descriptions. These papers have a limit of 1 page only and are devoted to short communication on practical developments, products or technologies that can be commercially exploited. Investment proposals or business plans on unconventional technologies are welcome. These submissions are evaluated by the editorial board, authors have to provide some evidences for technical feasibility, e.g. video with working prototypes, images of products, implementation letters from customerЎs organization and other materials.
  • Reprints of old research papers, unpublished historical material, translations of interesting papers and similar works.
  • Discussions that express opinions to the published papers, general considerations and other materials.
  • Letters as short messages (up to 2-3 pages) forcomments related to the published materials. Authors should send the pdf file for initial submission [email protected], final submissions should be
