Energetic and informational interaction

The development of MYSTONE® is based on the results of research into the energetic and informational interactions between humans and their environment.

This work was carried out mainly by Russian scientists many years ago. The following explanations serve as an introduction to the topic. About Dr. Alexander Kozhemyakin here.

Physical backgrounds

Every electromagnetic radiation, including the light of the sun, always carries information (frequency, polarization, modulations, continuous or pulsed radiation, energy of light quanta) which are important for the possible effects on the human body.

In the MYSTONE® is a special crystal (Low and Superlow Technologies by Dr. Kozhemyakin) that is electrically excited to vibrate. The road generated by the MYSTONE®

The radiation generated by MYSTONE® has a very low radiation energy. This is in the order of 10-10 W / cm2, that is clearly (by a few orders of magnitude) smaller than the radiation energy of a mobile phone. The penetration depth into the skin is therefore a maximum of 1 mm.

From space only certain parts of the radiation spectrum reach the biosphere (earth surface) through so-called transparency windows. This includes, in particular, the visible light.

The range of electromagnetic EHF radiation used by the MYSTONE® of 30-80 GHz (EHF = extremely high frequency) is largely shielded by the atmosphere. In the course of evolution, resonance and communication structures in the human body could develop using this frequency range.

For the consideration of the effect of the MYSTONE® the term of the resonance is of central importance. Every oscillatory system (including the human body) has a natural frequency with which it vibrates freely. If energy is supplied externally to the system with just this frequency, the amplitude of the oscillation continues to increase (like a swing that is pushed).

The oscillation amplitude and thus the energy of the oscillating resonance system can be greater by a multiple than the amplitude of the externally applied excitation oscillation. These resonance effects result in greater effects in the organism due to the very low radiation energy of the MYSTONE®.

Since the discovery of the electromagnetic fields and the description of the electro-magnetic radiation or the photons, there have always been studies on the medical-biological use of this radiation.

This research was inspired by the ideas of Nobel laureate Ilja Prigogine for irreversible non-equilibrium thermodynamics. These describe how coherent states can be created far from the thermodynamic equilibrium by chaotic interactions of incoherent structures.

N. D. Devjatkov and his colleagues recognized that the interactions between the biological objects and the radiation in the EHF region are resonance processes. It has been shown that the interaction of the radiation has “information character” and is suitable to influence or control processes at the cellular level. This is the basis of EHF therapy in physiotherapy and, ultimately, the use of MYSTONE®.

This work deals with the actions of biological active substances (BAS) to the cellular and model bio-objects of animal origin. The BAS are melafen – plant growth regulator, fenozan and its derivatives – antioxidants with different molecular structures, by these derivatives have variable properties when influence to membrane and cellular experimental objects. The objects are multilammelar liposomes, formed from synthetic or natural phospholipids, erythrocytes, cells of Erlich ascetic carcinoma and lymphocytes ant thymocytes. We obtained data, which suggest that BAS influenced to structure of synthetic liposomes, but not to natural. To the structure and functions of cells BAS acted too.

The development of new drugs based on natural compounds from the flavonoid family is an actual goal. Dihydroquercetin is one of the promising bioflavonoids. However, the antioxidant mechanisms of dihydroquercetin are still far from full understanding.

Three chemiluminescence model systems were used to study antioxidant activity of dihydroquercetin: by decreasing of Fe(II)-depended peroxide oxidation of liposome lipids (system 1), by inhibition of luminol oxidation induced by 2,2′-azobis(2-methylpropionamidine) dihydrochloride (system 2) or by opsonized zymosan-stimulated polymorphonuclear leukocytes (system 3). Dihydroquercetin increased the chemiluminescence latent period in system 1 (concentration 0.1−2.5 μM) and system 2 (concentration 0.05−0.15 μM). In system 1, the antioxidant effect ofdihydroquercetin did not differ from the water-soluble trolox. In system 2, where water-soluble peroxide radicals were generated, the antioxidant activity of dihydroquercetinwas 6 times greater than that of the trolox. In system 3, dihydroquercetin reduced the intensity of luminol-dependent chemiluminescence of polymorphonuclear leukocytes at concentrations of 5−125 μM (cell count–1.5×105/ml).

Thus, complex chemiluminescence analysis allowed to evaluate antioxidant activity of dihydroquercetin and to reveal some features of its antioxidant mechanism.

PHYSICO-CHEMICAL FEATURES OF HIGHLY DILUTE WATER SYSTEMS, DUE TO THE PRESENCE OF ATMOSPHERIC GASES

The fluorescence (λex = 260 nm), Rayleigh light scattering (λex = λobs. = 260 nm), electrical conductivity, redox potential and response to ultraviolet irradiation of purified water and simultaneously prepared samples of the 15th centennial dilution of sodium chloride, potassium chloride and acetone have been investigated. It was found that immediately after preparation and at least for the next two days these samples significantly differ from each other and from the initial water. Using the methods of flicker-noise spectroscopy, the kinetic dependences of the light scattering of these systems and their variation during time have been studied. It can be concluded that the serial dilution and shaking of aqueous

solutions leads to increasing of content of reactive oxygen species and to intensification of their reactions with impurities and dissolved atmospheric gases.

Gravitropic reaction of cress roots relatively static vertical and horizontal magnetic fields combined with alternating electric field tuned to the cyclotron frequency of Ca2+ions was investigated for all possible relative orientations of fields and roots’ directions. It was shown that that thegravitropic reaction depends essentially on the relative orientation of magnetic, electric fields and roots direction. Two mechanisms were proposed to explain this effect. The first one is based on the taking in account the expansion of the directed ions flow in magnetic field and breathing of the membrane with the frequency of alternating magnetic field. The secondone is based on the possibility of phase transition in water. For the last mechanism thereare no obstacles for the ion cyclotron existence because in that case ions rotate around the domains of water in vacuum between the domains.

Bicarbonate aqueous systems represent sustained non-equilibrium system in which processes with the participation of active oxygen species accompanied under specific conditions by weak photon emission continuously proceed. It is demonstrated that the parameters of photon emission may be influenced by weak Cosmo physical fields and also by addition to these aqueous systems of extremely high diluted preparations of different biologically active compounds.

One of the most important characteristics of the embryonic development of organisms, particularly fish, is the duration of one mitotic cycle, the period of synchronous cleavage divisions (τ0). Having such an internal rhythm in the developing embryo, it is natural to expect the manifestation of a number of other rhythmic processes connected, for example, with the metabolic processes individual for each stage of development. These processes can be investigated, because the processes, occurring within the developing organism at different stages are closely related with the changing of physicochemical properties of the incubation environment, for example, by measuring its oxidation- reduction potential (ORP).

It was revealed that the geometric progression of the moments when the critical development periods comes during synchronization with mitotic cycles determines the positions of the lines having an elevated rank of significance. It is shown that the sequence of critical boundaries (critical periods of development) is represented by the following values: 3.16τ0, 8.6τ0, 23.4τ0, 63.5τ0, 173.5τ0, 470τ0. These values, like their half, are well manifested in the kinetic of the incubation medium ORP changes up to 130τ0. The other times can be used, possibly, as predictive assessments of the

critical period boundaries in the development of the

The impact of millimeter range electromagnetic waves (MM EMW) on rat blood plasma buffer capacity has been studied. It was shown that MM EMW results in decreasing of plasma buffer capacity. Thus, for the reduction of plasma pH by a unit it is necessary 4 ml of 0.1 N HCl solution. In the case of irradiation it is needed only 0.09 ml HCl to change the plasma pH by a unit. Most probably, it is connected to the alterations taking place in the plasma proteins, after which they lose their ability to catch protons and the value of pH rapidly changes.

Electromagnetic radiation of millimeter range (also extremely high frequency, EHF 30-300 GHz) was reproduced in artificial conditions only in 1965. A number of interesting effects were found during the study of the effect of EHF on biological objects and this range of radiation began to be used in medicine [1, 2]. Сhanges in the growth rate of cell cultures under the action of millimeter radiation were shown [3, 4, 5], also specific action of different irradiation modes [6].The current subjects of interest are the mechanismsunderlying the observed biological effects of millimeter waves.

EFFECTS OF PLANT PEPTIDES ON BIOLOGICAL AND PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL TEST SYSTEMS IN A WIDE CONCENTRATION RANGE

Biological Faculty, M.V. Lomonosov MSU, Moscow, Russia [email protected]

Plant peptides belonging to CLE family in a wide range of concentrations including ultra-low ones effect the balance between growth and differentiation in roots of Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings and intensity of the processes with reactive oxygen species participation permanently proceeding in human blood and bicarbonate aqueous solutions. Concentration dependence of the effects is non-monotonous, hormesis-like. These and other features of their action argue against the traditional “lock-and-key” mechanism for peptide action.

TO THE MEMORY OF LEV BELOUSSOV THE MISTERY OF THE EMBRYO DEVELOPMENT

I.V. Volodyaev

Biological faculty of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia E-mail: [email protected]

Embryo development is a process of incomparable complication, both morphogenetic (formation of space structures), and functional (differentiation of cell lines). Amazingly, most (if not all) of its aspects belong to the type of self-organizational processes, and have natural parallels in physics of open nonequilibrium systems and mathematics of dynamical systems. Yet, unlike ordinary “selforganization in the flow” some of them take place at the “relaxation branch” of system dynamics, and demand a kind of “sensing of the whole”.

In yearslong works of Lev Beloussov and coauthors, morphogenesis and cell movements in embryos were shown largely regulated by patterns of mechanical tension and strain in it. Moreover, the “sensing of whole” mystery was fully explained by mechanical feedbacks in the tissues and their property to actively react to external mechanical strain and hyper restore it.

Embryo development has two seemingly incompatible aspects: determinism of the whole process appearing in the obligate succession of key stages, and variability of patterns of gene expression, cell movements and morphodynamics observed in certain periods. Being associated with spontaneous decrease of symmetry in many aspects (space, dynamic and “cell-fate”), embryogenesis appears a permanent entwinement of structurally stable dynamics (deterministic aspect) and symmetry-breaking events (associated with irreducible variability and quasi-stochastic processes).

EXPERIENCE – THE SON OF MISTAKES: A CRITICAL REVIEW EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES OF MITOGENETIC EFFECT

Mitogenetic effect – is acceleration of cell divisions in microbe and cell cultures, and tissues, caused by distant (optical) contact with a number of biological and chemical systems. MGE was first discovered in [1], and was further investigated in 1920-s—1940-s by a number of scientific groups in the USSR, the USA, Germany, Italy, France, and other countries [2]. The total number of publications on the topic is more than 700, including a number of articles in top-rating journals [8]. Yet, the effect was not widely appreciated in the end, as a number of influential authors failed to reproduce it in their works [5].

Detailed analysis of methodical aspects of these works reveal severe violation of the methods suggested in the “positive works” [8]. Here we critically review the main methodical aspects of both “positive” and “negative” works on MGE and try to state recommendations for its reproducible registration. We consider MGE an unresolved problem in both fundamental [6] and applied biology [7], that should be revisited with the use of presepnt-day techniques, knowledge and level of evidence. Anyway, further progress in this area is impossible without rigorous investigation of earlier works with a particular focus on methods and evidence.

THE MECHANISMS OF RADIATION PROTECTIVE EFFECT OF PULSE-MODULATED EXTREMELY HIGH-FREQUENCY ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION

Gapeyev A.B., Lukyanova N.A.

Institute of Cell Biophysics of Russian Acad. Sci., Pushchino, Moscow region, 142290, Russia, e-mail: [email protected]

Using the comet assay technique, it was shown that low-intensity pulse-modulated electromagnetic radiation of extremely high frequencies (EHF EMR) with certain physical parameters can cause a radiation protective effect, protecting cellular DNA from x-ray radiation. The effect depended on the sequence of actions, frequency and type of modulation, intensity and carrier frequency. The mechanisms of radiation protective effect are associated with the induction of an adaptive response by nanomolar concentrations of reactive oxygen species formed by the pulse- modulated radiation. Cessation of the radiation protective effect of EHF EMR with selective inhibition of SAPK/JNK kinase cascade and non-specific blocking of DNA repair systems indicates the important role of these intracellular systems in the realization of the mechanisms of radiation protective action of low-intensity EHF EMR.

INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF AGENTS WITH ANTIOXIDANT STATUS ON MICROVISCOSITY OF THE MICE BRAIN ORGANELLES MEMBRANES IN HEALTH

The effect of the phenosan in different concentration, from low to ultralow, was studied. Significant changes of the micrviscosity were found out. Maximal effect was observed for two concentrations of the antioxidant, that is 10-17 and 10-5 mole/kg. The drug in all concentrations reduced microviscosity of the lipidic areas and increased microviscosity of the proteinic areas of the membranes.

The antistress properties of 2-carboxy-2- (N-acetylamino) -3- (3 ‘, 5′-di-tert-butyl-4’-hydroxyphenyl –propionate potassium (potassium anphen) were investigatedTo simulate stress effects, the model of “aging” mitochondria were used, which causes the activation of LPO in the membranes of these organelles [Zhigacheva I. V., Burlakova E. B., 2014]. Aging” of rat liver mitochondria and mitochondria of pea seedlings caused a weak swelling of mitochondria and an increase of fluorescence intensity of LPO products in 3-4 times. The introduction of potassium anphen into the mitochondrial incubation medium led to a decrease in the fluorescence of the final products of lipid peroxidation both in the membranes of mitochondria of rat liver and in the membranes of mitochondria of pea seedlings and had a dose dependence. The preparation in concentrations of 10-5-10-8, 10-13-10-16M reduced the fluorescence intensity of LPO products to a control level. In these concentrations, the drug increased the oxidation maximal rates of NAD-dependent substrates in the respiratory chain of plant and animal mitochondria by 13.2-35%. Based on the data obtained, it can be assumed that the biological effects of potassium anphen are due to its antioxidant properties and the ability of its highly diluted (10-16-10-6 M) aqueous solutions to spontaneously form molecular ensembles, denoted by the term “nanoassociates”. Quantum- chemical calculations of associates of potassium anphen suggest the possibility of the existence of hydrate-containing agglomerates in an aqueous medium. The reactivity of such agglomerates is associated with a change in entropy and free energy, depending on the structure of the solvation shell of the ligand.

A study of the effect of low-dose blue LED irradiation with a maximum of 450 nm and doses of ≤1 J/cm2 was carried out on the models of RPE cells of the eye of the Japanese quail Coturnix japonica and the human monocyte cell line THP-1. Metabolic activity of cells (resazurin test), their antioxidant status (inhibition of the process of chemiluminescence of luminol induced by hydrogen peroxide) and the value of the mitochondrial membrane potential (TMRE test) were registered as measurable parameters. The results of the study on models of RPE cells and human monocytes indicate that irradiation with blue light at 450 nm in doses less than 1 J/cm2 not only does not cause damage but rather has beneficial effects on metabolic cell activity, as it was shown for irradiation by LED and laser sources in the red spectral range.

The study of the effect of non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation (EMR) on the organs of vision of humans and animals remains a point of great significance over the last decade. EMR of radio and microwave frequency has become an integrated part of modern high-tech world and as a consequence, the impact of this factor on living organisms is inevitable. Recently obtained data on exposure of experimental animals to microwave radiation has pointed out the oxidative nature of EMR adverse effects. Experimental data on effect of decimeter radiation on lipid peroxidation processes and antioxidant defense in visual structures provided by Laboratory of Biophysics of Cell Metabolism of A.I. Karayev Institute of Physiology has confirmed this assumption as well. Tissue thiols inherently react with oxidizing products. Thereby the oxidative effect of non-ionizing EMR may have impact on the lens’ thiols pool.

Experiments conducted on albino rats have shown that exposure to relatively high intensity irradiation (30 μW /cm2) for 14 days led to the gradual transition of the thiol groups hidden in the protein structure to accessible (reactive) state in the cortex of the lens, and vice verse, an increase in content of hidden (inaccessible) thiols was detected in the nucleus of the lens. Low-intensity irradiation (10 μW / cm2) resulted in a decrease in accessible thiols (glutathione andsurface-located protein thiols) in the cortex (and, less obvious, in the nucleus) of the lens on background of low level of LPO. Apparently, the underlying reason for that phenomenon is the transition of protein easily accessible sulfhydryl groups to hidden form via S-glutathionylation and protein disulfide bond formation. Transition of protein thiols from one state to another attributed to physical factors impact allowed to suggest the supramolecular mechanism of regulation of homeostasis (in particular, thiols) in high-protein formations which can be realized by aggregation and de- aggregation of protein molecules.

The results of experimental studies of the biological effect of microwave radiation on biochemical processes simulatind reactions in the cells in the state of oxidizing stress are presented. Here, by using model system of cytochrome c (cyt c) and phospholipidsmembranes we demonstrated that microwave irradiation can stimulatecyt c-dependent oxidation of substrates in the water and membranes. Our results suggest that microwave irradiation may elevate sensitivityof cells to apoptotic stimuli.

The results of laser low-intensive terahertz radiations effects (λ= 333 mcm, Р = 6 mW/cm2, = 30 min) and radiation of visible range (λ=0,694 mcm, Р = 12 mW/cm2, = 30 min) on erythrocytes of donors and patients by allergic dermatosis are presented. The resistance of erythrocytes was estimated by means of hemolysis in vitro. The evaluation of influence of radiation terahertz and visible ranges was carried out with help of microwave dielectrometry (work frequency f =37,7 GHz), at that a real part of complex dielectric permeability (ε′) was measured. Results of the given researches testify to efficiency laser terahertz expositions in recovery of erythrocytes’ membrane resistance in vitro on the average 25 % that opens prospects for the further investigations of mechanisms of erythrocytes’ membranes resistance at therapy of patients by allergic dermatosis.

EXTERNAL INFLUENCES ON PREBIOTIC ORGANIC MICROSYSTEMS AS A REQUIRED FACTOR OF THEIR TRANSFORMATION INTO INITIAL FORMS OF LIFE

Kompanichenko V.N.

Institute for Complex Analysis of Regional Problems FEB RAS, Birobidzhan; [email protected]

Unlike other concepts of the origin of life, the author considers oscillations of physic-chemical parameters in the medium as a REQUIRED condition for emergence of primary microorganisms. Significant fluctuations of pressure, temperature, concentrations of components, electric potentials and other parameters in hydrothermal medium executed incessant influences upon prebiotic organic microsystems and stimulated their transformation into primary forms of life. The decisive step in this way consisted in thermodynamic inversion, after which the transformed microsystems acquired the property to continuously concentrate free energy and information as well as to export entropy. Therefore, the ability of any living system to respond upon external influences appeared just at the moment of the origin of life on early Earth.

The effect of conditions of polyphenol compounds extraction from the Zingiber officinale root using ultrasound (US) was investigated. It is established, that more full extraction of substances is observed at extraction by aqueous-ethanolic solvent (70 vol.% of ethanol) with method of cold maceration in US-field (frequency – 27 kHz, power of radiator – 2 W/sm2) within 15 minutes with the size of particles of raw material equal 2 mm. The offered way of extraction of vegetative extracts allows to increase efficiency and speed of phenolic compounds extraction, to lower the temperature and the time of thermal processing of an extract.

It is known that DNA is a charge conductor and that in strong magnetic fields, ring currents are induced in aromatic ring structures of DNA bases. Also, some researchers have hypothesized that ring currents in DNA bases may be induced naturally in natural conditions and play a role in resonance functions of DNA in biological systems. Since for specific information transduction, resonances in DNA structures should depend on DNA sequence, we proposed models of ring currents in groups of bases and demonstrated that in these models, EM oscillations are induced that include groups of bases and depend on DNA sequence. We have also demonstrated experimentally that treatment of cell culture with weak millimeter waves changes DNA structure protecting it from UV damage which effect is in agreement with the hypothesis that week EM waves of certain frequencies are capable of increasing orderliness of DNA structure via resonance interactions.

NO interaction with the THz-irradiated BSA preparations results in stronger local acidification due to NO NO2 conversion, which means weaker binding in NO-BSA complex. Thus, the complex formed by NO with BSA is somewhat weaker (and oxidation proceeds to a higher extent) for irradiated BSA than for non-irradiated BSA. NO oxidation proceeded with a higher rate and to a higher extent in the solutions with irradiated BSA than in the solutions with non-irradiated BSA. Possible candidate responsible for the observed changes may be proline fragment undergoing conformational changes induced by the terahertz radiation.

TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF THE WATER OH-STRETCHING RAMAN BAND

Pershin S.M., Pishchalnikov R.Y.

Prokhorov General Physics Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences, 119991, Moscow, Vavilovst., 38,[email protected][email protected]

A linear temperature dependence of the water OH-stretching band (3200-3600 cm-1) in the nonresonant Raman experiments upon picoand femtosecond excitation has been observed [1]. The estimated linear coefficient is about 0.87 cm-1C-1. To model the Raman optical response in addition to the features of the excited states of a single water molecule, it is necessary to take into account the dynamics of the intermolecular interaction, as well as the fact that the water molecules are grouped into clusters of different sizes, whose contribution to the overall optical response in Raman scattering experiments can be significant. We have analyzed the calculated spectra of vibrational resonances for clusters of different sizes andmoleculararrangement. For each cluster, the temperature dependence was calculated. The resulting Raman spectrum was calculated as the sum of the contributions from each cluster with the corresponding weight coefficients. An optimal ratio of the contributions of different types of clusters was found, in which the temperature dependence is described most accurately.

The luminescence spectra analysis of lucigenin solutions in deionized water depending on the concentration, which ranging from laboratory practice concentration (≈ 44 mg/l) to very high dilutions were obtained. That showed the presence of nonlinear effects for highly diluted solutions.

The obtained data on the dynamic light scattering from lucigenin solutions suggest that the solutions are not true and represent a lucigenin aggregates dispersion.

The special role of atmospheric gases dissolved in water in the form of bubbles is revealed. The sizes of bubbles lie in the same range as the sizes of lucigenin aggregates

The effect of pulsed magnetic fields on the positional order of micelles in aqueous solutions of CTAB in the concentration range 0.14-54.88 mM was investigated. The method of gas-discharge visualization, based on the manifestation of the features of the field emission of electrons through drops of a solution, was used for the study. It is established that the picture of the angular distribution of the emitted electrons depends on the concentration of CTAB in the solution and the number of pulses of the magnetic treatment. It is shown that these pictures reproduce the stereographic projections of the planes of close packing of spherical micelles along which electrons can move, which makes it possible to study the features of positional ordering of molecular associates.

PRODUCTION OF REACTIVE OXYGEN SPECIES AND TUMOR NECROSIS FACTOR-ALPHA BY NEUTROPHILS AT ACTION OF LIGANDS OF TOLL-LIKE RECEPTORS

Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, ul. Ostrovityanova 1, Moscow, E-mail: [email protected]

This paper presents a study on TLRs-mediated production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and tumor necrosis factor- alpha (TNFα) by human peripheral blood neutrophils stimulated with zymosan (TLR2/6 ligand), peptidoglycan (PG, TLR2/1 ligand) and lipopolysaccharide (LPS, TLR4 ligand). Luminol- and lucigenin-dependent chemiluminescence (Lum-CL and Luc-CL) was used to detect ROS production. The concentration of TNFα was measured by enzyme immunoassay. The plots of dependences of the sum of light emission of Lum-CL and Luc-CL on concentration of each ligand were viewed as saturation curves. Comparison of the sum of light emission of Luc-CL (production of superoxide anion radical) and the sum of light emission of Lum-CL (total production of ROS) showed that the contribution of NADPH oxidase to the total TLRs-mediated production of oxidants can reach 40–50%. To compare the ability of ligands of TLRs stimulate the production of ROS and TNFα by neutrophils, stimulation indices were calculated. It has been established that activation of neutrophils with zymosan leads to higher production of ROS (8-fold higher) rather than TNFα production. Unlike zymosan, LPS stimulated in a greater degree (2-fold higher) the production of TNFαthan ROS production. PG is intermediate in position between these ligands. Thus, the production of effector molecules (ROS and TNFα) by human peripheral blood neutrophils depends on the nature of the TLR ligand.

The analysis of the environment action on the dipole moment and magnetic moments of particles was fulfilled. It was shown that the electric and magnetic fields of electric and magnetic dipoles might be distorted essentially by the external objects. The permittiviityand permeability of the environment had to be taken into account. So the force of pushing away or attraction of particles, that had dipole or magnetic moment, to the boundary of two media might be changed when the external medium underwent from one phase to the other phase.

The new mechanism of starch grains (amyloplasts) moving is proposed. It is based on the distortion of the initial electric and magnetic fields of particles (ions and amyloplasts) by the external fields (electric and magnetic). The distortion caused the moving of amyloplasts to the center of cell and then to the upper part of the cell. The angle distributions of roots divergence from the horizontal plane confirmed it, so as the data of light and confocal microscopy. All effects observed in combined magnetic fields at cyclotron frequency of calcium ions may be explained by this mathematical model. The role of magnetic noise in excitement of the phase transition in water is discussed.

EFFECT OF LOW-INTENSITY DECIMETER ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION ON IRON INDICATORS IN RAT SERUM

[email protected]

Intensive development of radio and electronic communications leads to a significant “electromagnetic pollution” of the environment. Consequently, there is an interest in studying the effect on both biological environment and on human of low-intensity electromagnetic radiation (EMR), in particular, in the range of microwaves covering a range from 300 to 3000 MHz. Information about the level of iron in the serum and other parameters of iron is very important to assess the state of the body. The aim of our work was to study the serum iron in rats chronically exposed to low-intensity decimeter range EMR. Animals weighing 250-300 g were irradiated with decimeter radiation (frequency 460 MHz) on the device “Volna-2” (produced in Russia) in a metal cylindrical chamber, daily for 20 min to 28 days at a direct power density of 10 mW/cm2. The results showed that all three parameters of iron (serum iron, total iron binding capacity and free iron binding capacity of serum) in irradiated rats were significantly increased in relation to control animals (p<0.05).

The data suggest that decimeter range radiation can cause a redox shift in blood due to iron ions. The results will contribute to studies examining the effects of EMR on hematological parameters.

An experiment was conducted to examine the effect of isolated and combined action of different concentrations of CdCl2(50μM, 100μM) and EHF EMI on the growth, malondialdehyde (MDA) rate of wheat seedlings. A slight increase was recorded in the leaf /root (leaf > root) length and plant fresh weight in EMI- exposed group, while the levels of MDA in leaf were not changed significantly. High Cd concentration inhibited the seedlings growth and an increase of MDA content was observed. Research findings also showed that treatment of 50 μM Cd-exposed seedlings by MM-range EMI relatively improves the average plant parameters depending on EMI treatment duration, although registered indexes did not reach control values for intact seedlings.

EXTREMELY HIGH-FREQUENCY BAND INTERFEROMETER FOR NONCONTACT MONITORING OF BIOLOGICAL RHYTHMS FOLLOWED BY BODY SURFACE MOVEMENTS

AFS 52 LLC, Russia, [email protected][email protected][email protected] North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov, [email protected]

The on-line noncontact monitoring and display of human biologic rhythms are important for development of methods of functional diagnostics, chronomedicine, systems with biologic feed-back.

Interferometer is an instrument designed to measure a change of the distance from its antenna to the surface that reflects the electromagnetic waves by means of measuring of the differences of phases of electromagnetic wave emitted by the instrument and reflected be the object. The Company AFS 52 LLC, www.afs52.ru, Nizhny Novgorod (Russia) developed and manufactured a prototype of the 3 millimeter wave length range for biomedical research. This instrument allows to continuously and noncontact monitor human body movements (also through the clothes, chair seat and back, sofa) within a distance of 1 meter with a few microns tolerance. The flux density emitted by the instrument does not exceed 25 μW/cm2, thus, in line with sanitary norms, does not limit the exposure time. Figure 1 demonstrates the instrument in operation; example of recording of the human body relocations is shown in Figure 2. Both oscillogram and the signal spectrum clearly single out components linked with the respiratory and cardiac rhythms.

Fig. 1. Application of EHFB interferometer for Fig. 2. Example of human body surface movements, registration of respiratory and cardiac rhythms the oscilogram is above, the spectrum is bellow.

The extremely high-frequency band (EHFB) interferometer was tested on a group of 25 volunteers of both sexes and various ages. As result of measurements of cardiac contraction periods by means of the EHFB interferometer and portable electric cardiographs EK1Т-1/3-07 “AKSION” a good matching of results was established in 98% cases with a tolerance less than 1 millisecond. This way, the newly engineered instrument and relevant application technique allow to continuously and noncontactly monitor the respiratory and cardiac rhythms and analyze the parameter variability.

High sensitivity of the instrument for small relocations (within 0.01 mm) allowed to perform an experiment for detection and registration of cranial rhythm of 20 volunteers. During the experiments the volunteers were lying on back on the massage table. The location of the occipital and temporal bones was performed from under the massage table’s window and sideways. On the spectra of signals registered during more than one minute were identified components with a frequency from 4 through 8 cycles per minute that differed from the respiration rate. The respiration rate was imposed onto the experimental subjects by means of a demonstration of an image pulsating with a frequency of 15 cycles per minute. [The contactless measurement technique of biologic rhythms followed by human body surface movements – Patent RU 2651900, priority dated 14.02.2017]. The recorded cranial rhythm spectra consisted of one, and – more often – two multiple frequencies. For each experimental subject the main frequency of the cranial rhythm was individual, i.e. its value was replicated during the repeated measurement with a tolerance of 1/Тmes , where Тmes is the signal registration time. The present measurement accuracy of the cranial rhythm parameters is not sufficient to analyze its variability.

The obtained results substantiate applicability of EHFB interferometer for a remote contactless registration and monitoring of human cardiac and respiratory rhythms both during a short term (from 30 seconds – instant diagnosis: detection of critical-state symptoms), and extended time intervals (continuous monitoring, control over psycho-emotional state and fatigue). It is necessary to continue the cranial rhythm registration technique featuring an enhanced accuracy of evaluation of its time-related parameters.

The dynamics of the patients ‘ reversibility for hypertensive crises, myocardial infarction and stroke to emergency medical care in Yakutsk city depending on the daily dynamics of electromagnetic radiation of the Sun and geomagnetic disturbance is analyzed. The reaction of the cardiovascular system of healthy individuals was studied in a multi-latitude experiment (subarctic zone – Yakutsk, middle latitudes – Saratov) according to the daily dynamics of the t-wave symmetry of the electrocardiogram (KST ECG). The relationship between the emergence of hypertensive crises with the indicators of both electromagnetic radiation of the Sun and geomagnetic disturbance (2 peaks) was found, 3 peaks of reversibility were revealed for patients with myocardial infarction and stroke. The response of myocardium of healthy individuals at different latitudes was determined, first of all, to the change of geomagnetic disturbance.

MICROBIAL EFFECTS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION OF EXTREMELY HIGH FREQUENCY: NEW FINDINGS, MECHANISMS AND SIGNIFICANCE

Trchounian A.*

Yerevan State University, Yerevan, Armenia; *[email protected]

Electromagnetic field of extremely high frequencies at low-intensity is a new environmental factor the level of which is increased, as technology advance. This field is irradiated by satellite telecommunication, radiometry, traffic and military radars and/or remote sensing devices. This field is of interest due to findings that (1) bacteria and other cells might communicate each with other by electromagnetic field of sub-extremely high frequency range, and (2)different microbial effects of electromagnetic field of extremely high frequencies have been revealed [1].

The electromagnetic field of 51.8 or 53.0 GHz affected Escherichia coli and many other bacteria or microalgae mainly depressing their growth changing growth properties and viability and disturbing membrane-associated transport and enzymatic activity. These effects were non-thermal and depended on different factors. The effects of electromagnetic field have some similarities and differences with a number of bacteria studied. Distinguishing effects of morphology have been documented with Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The significant cellular targets for electromagnetic field of extremely high frequency effects could be water, cell plasma membrane and genome. The changes in water features by their turn can alter membrane proteins conformation, their hydration degree and other properties resulting in their altered activity. All this can even change cells morphology and sizes Actually, scanning electron microscopy analysis showed that almost all cells in the population irradiated by 53 GHz have spherical shapes similar to non-irradiated ones, but they have 1.3-fold increased diameters in case of irradiated cells [2]. This field has also affected hydrogen production by bacteria [3].

The model for the of electromagnetic field of extremely high frequencies interaction with bacteria is suggested; an essential role of the membrane-associated proton FOF1-ATPase, key enzyme of bioenergetic relevance, is proposed. Interestingly, a role of ATPase might be common for different cells: increased synthesis of ATP in biological effects of electromagnetic field is also offered for human cells [4] and for the other type of electromagnetic radiation.

The consequences of electromagnetic field of extremely high frequencies interaction with bacteria are the changes in their sensitivity to different biologically active chemicals, including a number of antibiotics. Importantly, the combined action of electromagnetic field of extremely high frequencies and antibiotics resulted with more strong effects.

These effects are of significance for understanding changed metabolic pathways and distinguish role of bacteria in environment, they might be leading to antibiotic resistance in bacteria. The effects might have applications in the nature protection, development of technique, therapeutic practices and food protection technology.

The search for new medicines is carried out by joint efforts of pharmacology, chemistry, pharmacy. The pharmacological activity of various substances is studied empirically. The present study has been based on the “trial and error” method where pharmacologists test the existing substances for their belonging to a particular pharmacological group, by using a set of pharmacological techniques. It should be noted that this way of searching for and creating new drugs is very laborious: on average, per one worthy drug there are 5-10 thousand compounds studied.

The method we have proposed for determining the pharmacological activity does not require a large amount of substance or high costs.

The pharmacological activity of aqueous and aqueous-alcoholic solutions of substances was evaluated from the change in the structure of water in the infrared region [1-3].

We have shown that if the drug exhibits an immune-stimulating and anti-inflammatory effect, then an absorption band appears in the IR spectrum in the region of 1225-1215 cm-1, and in the region of 1215-1208 cm-1 if the drug produces an antiviral, bactericidal effect. The absorption bands appearing in the region of 1208-1200 cm-1 indicate the presence of the pharmacological effect similar to that of hormones [1-3]. It is known that to compensate for the negative effects of physical, chemical, biological, and psychogenic factors, an important aspect is the adaptive restructuring of the body to enhance its protective properties. In order to survive, the body begins producing adrenaline; the thermoregulatory system starts up (35-420), and the brain generates electromagnetic fluctuations (1-30 Hz). The figure shows that the concentration of the adrenaline release in the body (10-1, 10-2, 10-3, 10-4 % for curves 2, 3, 4, 5, respectively) depends on the physiological state occurring in response to a variety of extreme impacts. Also, there are shown the spectra of a 5% glucose solution (curve 6), a 0.9% NaCl solution (saline) (curve 7), Ringer solution (curve 8), and of the drugs used in practical medicine for emergency care to launch important processes and accelerate metabolism. The increase in the intensity of IR absorption bands for drugs in relation to the absorption bands for the normal body condition at a temperature of 36.50indicates the pharmacological effect of enhancing the body’s defense systems.

Children’s Rehabilitation Center of Orthopaedics and Traumatology «Ogonyok» Saint-Petersburg, Russia [email protected]+7(921)-631-80-70 8(812)-421-42-36

This research aims at analyzing the effects of differential reflexоtherapy technique on the pain syndrome of lumbosacral localization of vertebrogenic genesis of children and adolescents.

One hundred twenty-seven patients aged from 8 to 18 years were observed and treated. All patients were divided into 2 groups – the main (72 children) and control (40 children). Patients of the main group were treated using the differentiated reflexotherapy technique apart from generally accepted treatment (remedial gymnastics, massage, physiotherapy, medication). Acupuncture was not provided for patients of the control group.

Comparative analysis of the treatment results demonstrates that the most effective treatment proved to be exploiting the differentiated reflexotherapy technique which made the pain syndrome reduced in shorter terms. The pain syndrome in the main group disappeared at 3rd-27th day from the beginning of the treatment while in the control group it happened only at 23rd-55th day from the beginning of treatment.

HOW TO LIVE IN AN ERA OF GLOBAL MICRUWAVE “SMOG”

That radiation frequencies are harmful to human health, scientists say about that a long time, but without tangible results. Why this happens with harmful factor for human health? Because people do not feel at this harm, and that positive effects from the use of radio communication, radar and radio equipment is so entrenched in our lives that without them life in a modern society, it is difficult to imagine. We list only the undisputed harm to human health. Scientists of the Military medical Academy in St. Petersburg and the Institute of Biophysics in Pushino showed that microwave radiation even a small intensity during long exposure suppresses immune and nonspecific protective human capacity on a big statistical material. Without immunity the human body is defenseless before the pathogenic effects, and its genetics vulnerable to any external shocks. It is the most clearly manifested in the embryonic stage of development. At the 10-12 week embryo maturation, when just starting to form its protective systems, microwave radiation suppresses they, and embryo died of any infections or genetic changes. So now die 20% -30% of embryos in the developed world, including Russia. Doctors call this process “miscarriage”, in reality, it’s killing babies by means of radio transmitters near inhabited or worked, walked these women. The embryo does not legally considered a person, and the only reason the true killers has not attracted the due responsibility.

This paper presents the investigation results of modeling «fatigue/stress» and the effect of low-intensity alternating magnetic field (MF) on the characteristics of the human magnetoencephalogram (MEG). Maximum value of magnetic induction in the center of the working area of 1.4 MT and 1.2 MT, the form of the signal – a damped sinusoid, frequency ~100 Hz, the repetition rate of the signal 1.0±0.1 Hz.

Neurophysiological changes caused by the action of MF indicate a decrease in the activation of brain structures and emotional and cognitive excitation and tension, increase in overall performance.

A large reactivity of the right hemisphere structures to the load and the impact of low-frequency magnetic field was revealed. This indicates a change in the ability to summarize information.

In various tissues of vertebrate animals, including, and in blood serum, protein-peptides complexes which in low doses exerted impact on the main biological processes have been found and also stimulated recovery and a reparation in the injured and pathologically changed tissues. The biological effect of protein-peptides complexes is characterized by existence of tissues, but not specific specificity. They have been united in new group of biologically active substance – the membranotropny homeostatic tissues-specific bioregulators (MHTB), on the basis of similarity of their physical and chemical properties and the nature of biological effect. In this work studied MHTB isolated from cattle blood serum. Basis of MHTB is the protein-peptides complex containing peptides with a molecular masses 1151±2 And 1447±2 and protein-modulator with a molecular weight of 66439±2 with the partial N-terminal amino-acid sequence of DTHKSEIAHRFKDLGE-, a homologous nature molecule of bull serum albumine. By method of trypsin hydrolysis, it has been established that this protein-modulator is one of isoforms of serum albumineB. taurusat number gi│1351907in the Uniprot database. It is important to note that this protein-peptides complex shows chaperone-like activity in 75- 200 nM which the intermolecular aggregation of BSA and lysozyme induced dithiotreitol was completely blocked. On model of a skin wound at mouse of in vivo it has been shown that the studied MHTB stimulated processes of recovery and a reparation in the field of an experimental wound which developed on the mechanism of epimorphic regeneration in low doses – hair follicles, subcutaneous fat were formed, actively there was an epithelization of area of skin defect and formation of cicatricial fabric.

DISEASE LAW

(812) 777-04-27, 309-38-30, www.d-med.pro e-mail: [email protected]

Donchenko E. V.

Clinic of Environmental Medicine, Russia, St. Petersburg, ul. Kuibyshev, d. 22

In the medical literature, the idea of the disease is mainly focused on the influence of external factors on the development of the disease Analyzing the work of the body, in different States and faced with multiple reproduction of certain reactions in almost 100% of cases. I formulated these reactions in the form of the laws of the human body.

Disease law

The disease is an adaptive reaction of the body to the imbalance that has arisen due to various reasons. The body is a kind of self-adjusting system, which is constantly in a mobile balance with the environment. With the change of various geophysical parameters (magnetic field, temperature, day length, gravity, and more), the body reconstructs thesystem of functioning to the required optimal level.

If the body’s resources are in good condition, then even with the development of an imbalance, the body neutralizes the negative reactions, without creating for us painful manifestations. If the body has a deficit of certain substances; vitamins, micro -, macroelements, protein necessary to restore the disturbed balance, overload the endo and exotoxins, blocking the receptor apparatus of the cell, which prevents its normal metabolism, then it signals us about it in the form of painful conditions.

In the event of a painful condition in infectious diseases, and chronic in the development of conditionally can be identified 2 points; A – the beginning of the disease, B – the end of the disease, recovery. Between these points there is a set of reactions that the body must implement. If this does not interfere, then, reaching point B, restored the disturbed balance, and comes recovery.

So, the law of the disease consists of the following provisions

1. The disease is an adaptive reaction in response to the disturbed balance that occurs for various reasons.

2. The painful condition develops as a result of excess toxins, lack of necessary substances in the body,

3. The development of the disease state is affected by the weakening of the immunological protection.

4. To restore the disturbed health of the body it is necessary to give the opportunity to implement genetically programmed

reactions from the point A the beginning of the disease to the point b – recovery.

5. You can not thoughtlessly prescribe pharmaceutical products that block the natural path to recovery.

6. The body needs help to restore the disturbed balance. due to the release of accumulated toxins, on the one hand, and fill the deficit of necessary substances ( protein, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, etc.) on the other. Only in this case, a full recovery is possible.

7. Among the triggers in the occurrence of disease play a great role violated psihologicheskie the person.

For more than 25 years of practice, based on the total understanding, we have treated more than 30 000 people with different types of pathology with an efficiency of 80%-90%. Thus, a proper understanding of the laws of the disease will allow to develop more effective methods of treatment, and to achieve long-term resistant remission.
